Convey HC-1: the world's first hybrid-core computer

The Convey HC-1 marries a traditional x86 server with a reconfigurable coprocessor in an industry-standard rack mountable chassis. Convey's newest product, the HC-1^ex, extends the reach of hybrid-core computing, providing users with even greater performance, functionality and energy efficiency than the groundbreaking HC-1. Compared to the HC-1, the HC-1^ex includes three times the number of usable logic gates, which increases parallelism and ensures higher absolute performance.
